The Haines Group manufacture and distribute marine products through a network of dealers across Australia and New Zealand. We manufacture Signature, Traveller and Seafarer fibreglass trailer boats. We distribute Suzuki Outboards, Nautiques tow boats and Walker Bay inflatable boats.

Location and Role
Based in Wacol, 25 mins from Brisbane, 40 mins from the Gold Coast you will work with a dedicated team manufacturing Australia’s best fibreglass boats. The Haines group is a family owned company and had been building fiberglass boats in SE QLD for more than 50 years.

This is a full time position. Your main role will be working in the laminating section with traditional open mould fibreglass GRP production. The right person will also have the opportunity to progress and also learn about the latest closed moulding techniques. The Haines Group lead the way in fibreglass production technology.

Skills and experience

You must be able to work well as part of a team.
Have pride in your own work, “Build it as though you are going to own it”
Experience in open mould fibreglass (GRP) production would be an advantage.
Be fluent in spoken English and have the right to work in Australia.
Punctuality is a necessity.
Chopper gun experience is an advantage but not essential.
